This porcelain piece is a Qing Qianlong period wood-grain-glazed hexagonal brush pot with reserve panels decorated in light crimson color and poetic inscriptions. As a scholar's desk utensil designed for holding writing brushes, it features a regular shape with a turquoise green glaze applied to the rim and inner wall (a common interior glaze for scholar's utensils in the mid-to-late Qing Dynasty).

The outer wall is adorned with wood-grain glaze (emulating wood textures, originally developed during the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty and widely used in folk kilns in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China).

Within the reserve panels (openwork panels), motifs are painted and poetic inscriptions are inscribed in light crimson color — a popular colored porcelain technique in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, characterized by pale ink and soft colors, with a style similar to literati paintings.

It bears a cyclical mark such as "Qianlong Nian Zhi" (Made during the Qianlong Reign).

竹石图:竹子是“四君子”之一,象征高洁、坚韧;

诗文题跋:搭配书法诗句(如“寒梅落尽闲窗静”类文人诗句),并钤盖印章,是晚清"浅绛彩瓷”的典型装饰一将“诗、书、画、印”融合,体现文人审美;

仿木纹地:木纹釉为底,衬托开光内的清雅纹饰,形成“质朴+雅致”的对比。

Bamboo and stone painting: as one of the "four gentlemen of flowers," bamboo symbolizes integrity and perseverance.

Poetic inscriptions and colophons: adorned with calligraphic verses (such as literati-style lines like "after the plum blossoms fade, the quiet window remains serene") and inscribed with seals, this is a typical decorative feature of late Qing "light crimson color porcelain" — integrating "poetry, calligraphy, painting, and seal carving" to embody literati aesthetics.

Wood-grain ground: the wood-grain glaze serves as the base, setting off the elegant motifs within the reserve panels and creating a contrast between "simplicity and refinement."
